Technical details

Composition Lambda-cyhalothrin 8%+Chlorantraniliprole 20% SC
Formulation SC
Registration number UgC/2026/004266/In/R
Mode of action Lambda cyhalothrin is a pyrethroid insecticide that acts as a sodium channel modulator, disrupting the nervous system of insects, causing prolonged opening of voltage-gated sodium channels, leading to continuous nerve excitation, paralysis, and ultimately death. Chlorantraniliprole works by activating the ryanodine receptors in insect muscle cells, causing a continuous release of calcium ions. This leads to uncontrolled muscle contractions, paralysis, and ultimately, the death of the insect.
